Listen folks, I was, I really was on board with Al Gore when he began his "An Inconvenient Truth" agenda. I saw the movie, the science made perfect sense -- and look at the icecaps melting! Look at the fooking ice caps melting!!!
But if the only solution you are going to offer is a carbon tax then it makes the whole damn thing seem like a giant fooking campaign to add another tax to an already overtaxed and underpaid populace. If you think about it, if the government, and now New World Order government, decide to pass a carbon tax, technically the government could tax us for breathing. Or perhaps even justify genocide. I can see the scenario playing out on the mass media now: "Too many people exhaling too much carbon dioxide! What is the final solution? News at ten!"
And using corn to make gasoline? Feeding our machines before we feed our people? There are other methods, better ways.
How about we just build some fooking windmills? How about taking all this damn bailout money and setting up a solar grid for each neighborhood? There are plenty of solutions, people, we just aren't being offered any valid ones.
