Instead of Homeland Security, I think we should repeal it and then all agree as Americans that if we see a terrorist on a plane we just tackle the motherfucker! He gets as far as, "Ji--" and he's down on the ground like a second rate clown!!!
And then we should take all that extra money and give all Americans a government voucher for free martial arts classes. This could be our new motto: "See a terrorist, tackle the son-of-a-bitch!"
But please stop molesting good people at the airport.
Late Night Addendum:
It seems really surprising to me that more people did not see this economic crisis coming. After all, for nearly a decade now the only thing this country has been investing in is the Military and Homeland Security, two industries that produce absolutely nothing of saleable value (unless you plan on exporting death, fear, and paranoia).
